Acquiring a new boat

Turning your vision of an artisan-built boat with sustainable solutions into reality involves a meticulous process that encompasses design, construction, and post-delivery support. Yacht-Match takes care of the entire process, from initial consultation and financing options to the construction and equipment of the boat, and after-sales support. Our focus is on multihulls and monohulls with a length between 15-22 metres, including powerboats and sailing yachts.

Calculations for your boat

Every detail of your eco-friendly boat is meticulously calculated by our naval architect to ensure optimal results without compromising the boat’s comfort, performance or luxury.

The most important calculations are the boat’s required power, range and onboard energy demands, based on your preferences and needs. To do this, we have to determine the boat’s weight, calculate the resistance, estimate the propulsive efficiency, and more before giving suggestions on the best sustainable solutions for you and your boat.

Constructing your boat

When calculations and plans for your boat are done, it is crafted by skilled artisans and shipbuilders. They seamlessly integrate the chosen sustainable solutions into the boat during the construction phase. You are kept informed and involved throughout the process through regular updates, and opportunities for feedback to ensure a satisfactory result.

Rigorous quality checks are conducted throughout the construction process to maintain the highest standards, and ensure every aspect of the boat meets or exceeds industry benchmarks.

Delivering your boat

Upon completion, your unique artisan-built boat is delivered directly to an agreed-upon point. Yacht-Match provides you with a comprehensive orientation so you get familiar with every aspect of the boat, including the operations of the new sustainable solutions.

After delivery, you receive ongoing support from Yacht-Match to answer any questions that might arise or future assistance with maintenance or enhancements.

Gavin & Dona acquired their artisan-built ITA CAT, equipped with solar panels, batteries & electric propulsion system.

Gavin & Dona wanted to find a catamaran with superior speed and elegance compared to mainstream brands, which also provided comfort, modern design, and sustainability. Our Waiata has exceeded our expectations in terms of sailing performance. She’s faster than anticipated even compared to our friends’ diesel-fueled boats. We’ve saved a lot on fuel as we installed electric propulsion and solar panels, and Dona has especially enjoyed the absence of diesel odours. The ability to regenerate power while sailing is an especially valuable feature for us. We’ve now experienced the difference between an artisan boat's quality versus mass-produced models and we prefer the former and are very satisfied with our Waiata. We were both impressed by the ITA's elegant design, epoxy-infused hull, solid timber joinery, high-quality materials, and the professionalism of the team.
