Yacht-Match brings independent buyer advisory to La Grande Motte 2026

Yacht-Match offers what most buyers really need:
someone on their side

For anyone considering buying a catamaran, a boat show can seem like the perfect place to begin. It’s an opportunity to view the latest models, meet shipyards, and compare a wide range of yachts, all in one place. But for many buyers, that’s also where confusion begins.

After hours on the docks, reviewing brochures and hearing similar sales pitches the thoughts can be many. It can be difficult to understand which yacht, and which ownership setup actually fits their long-term plans.

Yacht-Match was created to solve that problem.

As independent advisors, Yacht-Match works with buyers to help them cut through the noise and make decisions based on what matters. Not only which yacht impresses visually, but which setup (equipment, layout, ownership structure, financing etc) fits their long-term plans.

“As a consultancy company, Yacht-Match isn’t driven by sales. We’re here to give clients a clearer overview of their options and help them make an informed decision. It’s not only about choosing the right yacht. You also need to understand the best way to buy it, the right equipment, financing options, and ownership solutions that suit your needs. We compare all options, even those they might not have thought of, while always prioritising their interests” says Viktor van Savooyen, co-founder of Yacht-Match.

At the International Multihull Show: clarity, not sales pressure

From April 22 to 26, Yacht-Match will be at the International Multihull Show in La Grande Motte. They’ll provide visitors with a clear and unbiased way to navigate the buying process.

Visitors can book private consultations, join guided walkthroughs of selected models, and for serious buyers, Yacht-Match also facilitates test sails before, during, or after the show.

The team will be active across several leading shipyards, including Nautitech, Privilege, Seawind, and Aventura. The goal is to help clients compare models like the Nautitech 48 Open, Privilege Signature 510 and 580, Seawind 1170 and 1370, and Aventuras impressive fleet of five yachts: the 37 and 45 (sail) and motor yachts, including the 37 Explorer, 38 FLY, and 38 SC.

A different approach to boat shows and boat buying

Rather than focusing on selling a specific boat, Yacht-Match begins with the buyer’s intended use.

“We always start with how the client wants to use the yacht. Where they plan to sail, how much time they’ll spend onboard, and their level of involvement in maintenance or chartering” says Daria Petrova, Yacht Charter & Charter Management Advisor at Yacht-Match. “From there, we help them evaluate every decision with the right perspective, from layout to ownership model.”

During the show, Yacht-Match supports clients with:

  • Private consultations to define goals and compare options
  • Guided walkthroughs of relevant models
  • Sea trials to assess handling and comfort
  • A structured Boat Show Buyer’s Checklist
  • Evaluation of ownership models (private, charter, hybrid)
  • Access to the YM Explorer Program for long-distance cruising
  • Advisory on charter ownership and management setups

For clients using full consultancy, Yacht-Match covers travel and show costs. This includes flights, accommodation, and VIP access.

An advocate, not a seller

As the yacht market grows more complex, buyers want independent help. This guidance helps them lower risk, avoid costly mistakes, and make smarter long-term choices.

At La Grande Motte, Yacht-Match provides exactly that: an experienced partner on the buyer’s side.
